October 27th 2025 – New band announcement
I became official member (guitar player) of German heavy metal band U.D.O./Dirkschneider
Udo Dirkschneider  is a German singer who first rose to fame with the heavy metal band Accept. After leaving the band in 1987, he formed the band U.D.O., in which he has also enjoyed commercial success. Former Accept and current U.D.O. lead singer Udo Dirkschneider has a long career spanning almost five decades that helped to shape German heavy metal. His unique and raspy voice approach and his taste for huge choruses is a big part of Accept’s appeal and made him one of the most recognizable characters in heavy metal history. Current line up of the band is: Udo Dirkschneider (vocal), Peter Baltes (bass), Sven Dirkschneider (drums), Fabian Deedammers (guitar) and Alen Brentini (guitar). October 17th 2025 – Here’s some news!
After almost 14 years, I decided to step away from the Andreas Gabalier band. With this band I played the biggest arenas, stadiums, theatres and everything you can dream of as a musician…There is no bad blood, no burning bridges or anything negative between us, it’s simply time for a change, which sometimes is a necessary component of growing and evolving, not just as an artist, but as a human.I’m beyond grateful to Andreas, my amazing band members, the management and our hard working crew for everything. I’m gonna carry them all in my heart for the rest of my life. Special thanks go out to my long time friend and general manger Klaus, who’s been one of a kind and who has always been there with maximum support for me. After our last show in Vienna on October 31st I will no longer be an official member of the band. So, 3 more shows left for you to see us together, doing what we love the most. If stars will align again I might jump on stage here and there but until then I wanna say THANK YOU ALL for understanding, I’m thankful for all your support through the years of Volksrocknroll. ❤️ Alen
